House Blend’s KITCHEN Caters To The Nashville Bride Without Nashville Prices | Nashville Wedding Guide for Brides, Grooms - Ashley's Bride Guide
We had a great experience with our caterer, KITCHEN by House Blend. And yes...we found our caterer 3 weeks before our wedding!!! Our menu was delicious and under $12 a person for a choice of three entrees and 4 sides. We did our own drinks & desserts, which helped lower our meal costs and allowed us to provide incredible food on our budget! To read my recent interview with KITCHEN, check out the full post on Ashley's Bride Guide:

Wedding Inspiration: Music City Events Creates Dreamy Wedding Style Shoot at Noah Liff Opera Center
The Noah Liff Opera Center is one of my favourite modern venues in Nashville. I remember attending the first session of the ABG Smart Bride Bootcamp (back before Jermaine & I were even engaged, shhhh!!) and being wowed while walking into the NLOC. The high ceilings, the modern architecture, the incredible space options - this venue was definitely stunning!
The dream team at Music City Events put together this incredible style shoot at NLOC, and I'm so excited to share it here as well. The shades of blush and gold are just gorgeous, and this shoot certainly provide lots of inspiration for Nashville brides. Check out my full post at Ashley's Bride Guide, linked below.

Say I Do to Wedding Insurance - Why You Should Consider It For Your Wedding | Nashville Wedding Guide for Brides, Grooms - Ashley's Bride Guide
For many people, a wedding can be one of the single most expensive days
in their lives. Just as you would have insurance for your other major
assets, like your home or vehicles, having insurance for your wedding is
something to consider. While we all wish for a perfect wedding day that
goes on without a hitch, behind the scenes there is always a Plan B -
just in case. Think of wedding insurance as a Plan C, to ensure that
your financial risk is limited in an emergency situation, such as a
fire, vendor bankruptcy or major injury. With multiple vendors,
furnishings, locations and gifts to consider, the financial implications
of any unfortunate event can be dramatic. If you’re a numbers person
like I am, knowing that the investment you are making on your wedding
day is protected (no matter what!) can provide great peace of mind in a
time that is often very busy and stressful.

Mix & Match Bridesmaid Dresses, by Jenny Yoo, Bring Personality & Endless Options
We’ve all been there - trying to figure out how to wear a dress that
your dear friend has chosen for her bridal party that does not work for
your body type. One that she exclaims "you’re sure to wear again"…except
you know that you won’t!
Trust me, if you or your bridesmaids are uncomfortable in their
dresses, it will show in your wedding photos. Yes, if you’re the bride
you usually get to choose the bridesmaids attire, but many brides do
want their friends to enjoy the dress, since it's (usually) coming out
of their pocket. Luckily, the popular mix and match bridesmaid dress
style allows your wedding party to choose from several options that
share similar hues, styles or fabrics.
Check out my post on this gorgeous dress by Jenny Yoo at Ashley's Bride Guide below:

Happy Valentine's Day!
Happy Valentine's Day lovely ladies!!
I hope that you can celebrate this day of love with the ones who mean the most to you! For me, this day isn't about gifts or flowers or chocolate, but about the love that I have for the man I'm married to and my family. It's an excuse to be even MORE mushy about expressing how much I love them (and I'm a mushball all year round!), and I love that!
I'm so thankful that I get to spend every day with Jermaine & that he knows each day just how much I love and cherish him (cause I tell him loudly all the time, even when I'm cranky or grumpy...!!). I hope that you can take some time today to make sure that the ones you love know how important they are to you, today & every day!
xoxo
